The Pros and Cons of Thrifting

March 13, 2012

In this video I talk about both the pros and the cons of thrifting and why you should still at least TRY thrifting despite the cons. :)
Thrifting is good for the environment, it’s cheap, it helps you create your own sense of style and because there’s a variety of clothing you’ll be likely to find something every time that you go! It doesn’t matter that you might not the EXACT thing that you’re looking for, that it’s not in your size and that thrift stores are a bit smelly, the savings are more than worth it!

A lot of people I know are thrifters. A guy I know went to a store and got a $400.00 suit for $30.00. Ever consider being a reporter?

Wow. That right there is the dream.

Haha. I’ve never thought about being a reporter, but I’ve always secretly wanted to be on TV. :)

PS: Sorry it took me so long to comment back. WP thought your comments were spam and I didn’t see them ’til today. :(
Also, thank you for the email. You’re a great friend. :)

Great video! As an avid thrifter (or op shopper as we call it here in Aussie) this little vid was fun to watch as I can totally relate. And I’d agree with Tom, you do work the camera well.
