[Vlog] – On My Mind – Tumblr, Homestuck and

October 7, 2011

Oh my goodness, vlogging is hard and time-consuming. This week I wanted to try vlogging from a new location because I’m pretty sure that nobody digs the color yellow as much as I do and I didn’t want to hurt anybody’s eyes. I like this location much better, but I have to be careful with what time of day I shoot. You know, just so I don’t have to re-shoot later in the day when the light isn’t as harsh. Not that I’d know from experience, but man that would suck! :/

This week I talk about what has been on my mind.

  • I recently joined Tumblr. Not really sure why. It was more of a spur of the moment kind of thing. I’m still not really sure what I’m going to do with my tumblr. So far I’m thinking of using it for things that would be too trivial for this blog, but too long to post on Twitter and on Pinterest. Goodness, there are too many social networking sites out there! Right?
  • I recently finished reading Homestuck and I really want the next update to come out. I’m not really used to having to wait for updates and it’s kind of killing me. Don’t worry though, it’s a slow kind of death. Are you a MSPA reader? Which hoodie do you think looks the best with my skin tone?
  • The Greatest Books is a website that brings together all the “greatest books ever” and “top 100” types of list out there are combines them into 1 huge super list. There’s a non-fiction section as well as a fiction section for all of us out there that like that sort of thing. In my quest to formulate a Life List [or Bucket List if you like that better] I came across this website and now I have 200 books to read before I, well you know, die. I’ll be posting those two lists pretty soon, but for you impatient and nosy types out there who just need to know now just look at the top 100 fiction and top 100 nonfiction list. Yup, that’s it. Wow, maybe all this reading will be what kills me.

As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts. :) Leave me some feedback, please.

What do you think of Tumblr? Do you read MSPaintAdventures? What are your favorite books of all time?

I have a few blogger friends who have a Tumblr but they mostly post photos that they find interesting. Some of them also post quotes of poetry. I heard a lot of people post porn on Tumblr. Vlogging looks like fun and you are a natural in front of the camera.

I like the interaction between you and your boyfriend about Homestruck. I can see how a guy would say that very thing but I can also say that if it were reversed a girl would say the same thing to a guy.
